Ancient Artillery Museum or its another name – The Old Big Gun Museum is an open-air museum. It is a must-see for anyone interested in the military history of Thailand. The museum is located near the 3-story old Ministry of Defense building. The museum building is built in the European style and is quite large. The walls are painted yellow with white decorations and the windows are green.

Ancient Artillery Museum ‘s arsenal consists of about 40 ancient cannons from the end of the Ayutthaya period to the Rattanakosin period. Each gun has an explanation of the era when the gun was made. The cannons are well taken care of and are in excellent condition.

Ancient Artillery Museum is in a picturesque location and is often used for historical film screenings. You might also want to take some pictures as a memento.

Unfortunately, there is no parking space near the museum for personal vehicles, so it is better to come here by cab or public bus. There are buses #12, 39, 59, 157, 171, 201, 503, and 509 from Victory Monument to Rajdamnern.
