There are various exhibitions in three different buildings. The first building is a house built in 1937. The style is very Western, as was fashionable at the day. You will notice the high soaring ceilings with wood carved panels on top to let the heat out and keep the rooms cool. The house is displayed as it was in the 1940s, with most of the original cabinetry and fixtures.
There is another two-story building behind this house, built in 1929, though it originally was on a different piece of land. It was relocated to this site when the family opted to combine their collection into a museum for the city. The house was originally a health clinic with living accommodations above it belonging to Dr. Francis Christian, the stepfather of the owner. Christian died before he could move in. Most of the exhibits are from the 1920s, including lamps and housewares in the tiny apothecary on the 2nd floor.

The third house is reminiscent of an old storehouse. On the first floor are the old kitchens, as well as some other exhibits on livestock and other various artifacts. On the second floor is a large exhibit about the past history of Bangkok and the area, which is mostly written in Thai.
